The appflight beta

How it works

1. Join the list with your email. There is no confirmation email: your signup comes straight to us.
2. We invite testers in small rounds, by email. Your invite has the download link.
3. Install appflight with the steps on the download page. Beta builds are not notarized yet, so macOS asks you to confirm the app once.
4. Build something real, and tell us how it went.

What you get

• Early access to the appflight Mac app while it is in beta, plus each new build as it lands. The app tells you when a new one is out.
• A direct line to the team. Feedback you send from the app comes straight to us, and we read all of it.
• A say in what comes next. What testers hit first is what we fix first.
• Founding pricing, as described on the waitlist page.

What we ask of you

• Build real apps, the kind you would actually want to ship, not just a quick test.
• Tell us what breaks. Use Send feedback in the gear menu: what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. Rough edges and confusing moments count too.
• Expect bugs. This is pre-release software. Keep backups of anything that matters. The terms have a short section on beta software.
• Stay current. Install new builds when the app tells you one is out, so your reports match what we are working on.

What you need

An Apple silicon Mac on macOS 15.6 or later, Xcode 26 with an iOS simulator runtime, about 20 GB of free space, and Claude Code or Codex with your own account or API key. An Apple Developer Program membership is only needed when you want to ship. The full list is on the download page.

Known limits of this beta

• The build is not notarized yet, so the first launch needs the one time Open Anyway step in System Settings. The public release will be signed and notarized.
• macOS may ask once to let appflight use its Keychain storage, where your keys are kept.
• Apple silicon Macs only.
